Where to Stay in the Capital

It’s never easy to decide where to stay in London. The place is vast, so you really need to know what you are planning to do during your stay in order to find the right hotel to stay in.
I would always recommend planning out a clear idea of what you will be doing in the city. Try to think of at least three main things that you plan to do during your stay and have a look on a map. See if you can pin point a place between all three locations. This would be a great location for your hotel.
There are other ways of looking at things though. For instance, a lot of the time tourists spend a large proportion of their time in London in the West End. This is because it is an area where most of the action is taking place! It’s an exciting place to be and if you can find some things to entertain yourself in this area during your stay then you will probably make things a lot easier for yourself in terms of travelling around.
The West End is home to most of the theatres in London, so if you are a bit of a theatre buff, then this is definitely the area for you. In the past you have been able to see some of the most famous stage shows in the West End and today is no exception. In fact, at the moment, you can find very cheap Phantom of the opera tickets online if you are willing to search around for them.
Wherever you end up staying, London is a wonderful destination and you are sure to have a great time.
